Alan & Seansay Clayton

This was a great wonderful conclusion to a long anticipated day. It's so amazing how God works down to the last detail. We can't stop thinking about what a beautiful warm day it was on the Royal Cupcake Mobile Event when we almost planned it for the weekend before where it had rained. We asked God for the temperature to be 75 degrees and He gave us a day of 79.

We can't stop thinking too of how smooth everything went and how much help and support we got from everyone.

How were we going to cover the van for the reveal? How were we going to find necklaces with cupcakes on them so we could have the 'Can't say: Cupcake, Cake,
Frosting, or Icing game? How will the songs come out? What kind of food should we bring? Will there be enough? Where do we get a red carpet for the piano and PA system? What kind of candy should we use for the guessing game. How many of our beloved friends and family will come--especially those loyal Royal Red Velvet Cupcake fans--you know who you are :) And most importantly will everyone see God in the event?

I can't imagine how anyone could not see God in this event. Again everything went so smooth from the set up down to the clean up at the end--thanks again everyone who helped with that--I think it was everyone. Hee hee.

Joseph showed up like clock work and set up, not only his piano, but the whole PA system without a hitch, we had mom and family blowing up balloons while Pops and I put up the Canopy for the Cupcakes and food. Joseph, his pops, and Pastor Luke then helped with carrying out the chairs.

It was such a pleasure and honor to see how many of our friends and family came. Everyone was so cooperative and friendly. Everyone got their necklaces and their raffle tickets, and had on smiling faces. The van was humbly covered with three throws we had found at a local linens store that we tied together using their fringe.

To start things off we had Cory from the YPG do a small cupcake RAP followed by a couple raffle drawings where we gave away a bunch of prizes. Then yours truly did a spoof of Sky Scraper called Giant Cupcake which I hope eveyone enjoyed.

Then the most important part of the reveal happened when Bishop came and gave a strong message and prayer about our business. It so awesome having all of our family and friends holding hands in prayer. Though it was specifically for our new venture in business I know it was a prayer that will benefit everyone who came to the event.

Then was the reveal. When we took our hand made cover off of the van I could hear OOHS and AHHS coming from everywhere. The time had come. All the frustrations we had to go through to get the van were over. The same way a mother feels after having her baby was the same way Seansay and I felt. And still do.

It wouldn't have been the same if Rashad--one of our beloved YPG tribe leaders--hadn't have busted out his Royal Red Velvet Cupcake Rap for us. That was awesome. We have to make a video for that and put it onYouTube.

To add to the fact that Gods hand was definately on the event was the fact that we got through the pinata part of the event without any bruises, broken bones or sad faces. Wow!

And then it was more raffle drawings and prizes.

Having our photographer Antonio there to take pics was a highlight too. I can't wait to see the photos he took especially the one where he superinposed a real cupcake into the logo design on the side of the van.

Some of our loved ones were in tears, some were speechless, and others just couldn't stop talking about what a blessing it was to see what God had done in our lives.

When the thought of cleaning up hit me, my stomach turned. "Oh know, there's no way we're going to be able to clean all this up." But like a band of soldiers, most everyone pitched in and made the whole process a breeze. Praise God.

We're still in happy shock over the whole event and can't stop thanking God for how wonderful he was to make this event such an honorable blessing and we can't wait to glorify Him more and more through the success of this new chapter we've added to the business that we call the "Royal Red Velvet Cupcakes."

Many thanks and blessings to all of you who came to support us in the reveal. We love you and will always be praying for you.

God Bless

David Bustamante

My name is, David Bustamante, and before coming to LFEC my life had no direction. I spent 20 years of my life running the streets. I was involved in gang life where I used and sold drugs. I brought a lot of worry and pain to my family since I would not listen to anyone. I thought I was free and could do whatever I wanted. I did not have to follow anyone’s rules. Not even God. Although I claimed to be a free man and could do whatever I wanted it led me to be in trouble with the law several times. I went to jail 4 times. In fact the worst moment in my life was when I got out of jail the last time in 2007. I got out and realized I had nothing. No money, no family that would trust me, no friends, and no place to go. I was completely lost.
I finally found a friend who gave me a chance to stay at their place. It was at this time that I found Living Faith. That was where I found direction, I learned how to use my faith and fight against the evil that had destroyed my life. I have been attending for 5 years now and my life has changed completely. I no longer use cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and I no longer get in trouble with the law. I am a new man. I have a place of my own and I am working.
Thank God for Living Faith and for giving me another chance to start a new life.

Seansay Clayton

Seansay Clayton came to Living Faith in March 2002, hoping to find some relief from all the sicknesses and worries that plagued her. She was only 34 years old, but her doctors told her that she had the physical health of an 80 year old woman, and she could feel it. She had depression, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic muscle spasms, scoliosis, insomnia, severe migraine headaches, and had a radical hysterectomy after a rapidly growing cancerous tumor almost killed her. Seansay lived on pain pills, taking massive amounts of Excedrin a day, along with literal basketful of prescription medications for her various symptoms.
After attending the meetins and learning that there was a solution to all her problems, she was determined to get healed. Today Seansay is strong and free from all the sicknesses that held her back from living a normal life. Her love for God is more real than anything she has ever experienced, because she has seen His power take hold of all her suffering, pull it out and turn it around into blessings. She is truly a new creature, thanks to the amazing power of God.

"I WAS COMPLETELY BROKE"

My name is Bobby Neal, and I am 29 years old. Before I came to Living Faith Evangelical Church, I was completely broke. I had a low self-esteem since I doubted my own abilities.

One day I was invited to come to the church where I started participating in the Chain of Prayers. I started attending every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Since then I have truly learned how to use my faith. I no longer doubt myself, I have confidence and God is really working in my financial life.

I thank God for what he has done in my life.

Daryl Alvarez

"IT WOULD NOT TAKE MUCH TO GET ME UPSET"

My name is Daryl Alvarez and before coming to LFEC life was really hard. I had a temper problem. I was easily angered. It would not take much to get me upset.
Even little things would set me off. This was so bad that it was affecting me from being happy in my love life.

I have been attending the Church for only a year now but I can say that my life has changed. I have been recently married and our communication has really improved. I can say every day it is getting better and better. I have also been blessed in my finances. I can only thank God for all His blessings.

Emily Law

UNCONTROLLABLE

When Emily Law became a teenager, she suffered deep depression and just wanted to die. She never lived a normal life with this traumatic disease of epilepsy. She had no control, couldn't make plans or promises because at any moment a seizure could take over and she'd be thrashing violently on the floor. She was humiliated and angry. Her temper and frustration caused her to shout at others and have no friends.

She came to a special service for healing and deliverance and was anointed with oil at Living faith. At that moment, she decided to use the faith that she had and determined her healing. When she got home that night, she slept very well for the first time. She was at peace. "Today not only have I been healed, but I also found God as my Savior and Lord!"

Violet Martinez

BAFFLING FAITH AND BAFFLING RESULTS REVERSING THE EFFECTS OF 40-TONS OF STEEL

-Brother was crushed under the weight of an 18-wheeler
-Severely injured and developed pneumonia
-Doctors said he would only walk within a year
-Came to Living Faith and received anointing oil from Israel
-Anointed her brother everyday and is now completely healed

May 1st of 2009, Violet Martinez received news that her brother Juan had been in a massive car accident. His car had been crushed under the weight of an 18-wheeler, with another vehicle flipped onto the truck as well. The entire passenger side of Juan's car was flattened by the wheels of the 40-ton truck, and Juan was assumed dead on the scene.

The news reporters rushed in to record the rescue operations, firemen, police, ambulances, helicopters and huge tow trucks blocked off all the traffic in the desperate hope that some survivors could be found. But when Violet heard the account of the accident on the phone, she went straight to Living Faith to pray.

"It was like a pancake squashed under the trailer," she says. How could she help him by just standing by to watch the rescue attempt? The one to turn to first and foremost had to be God. And there in the church, she and her pastor cried out for God's powerful intervention, rebuking all the evil that wanted to claim Juan's life.

It took three hours to lift the first car, then lift the trailer off of Juan's mangled car, and then to extricate his body from the wreckage. To the amazement of the paramedics, Juan was still alive. Doctors treated his many broken bones and a punctured lung. His kidneys were not functioning properly, his body was in shock and he had internal bleeding. The family was told to take one day at a time, and the doctors promised nothing more than to do what they could.

After Juan's surgery, everything took a turn for the worse. His injured lungs developed pneumonia, and he was still on the brink of death. But no matter what Violet and her mom heard from the doctors, they used their faith, anointing Juan with the blessed oil from Israel that they received at Living Faith as he lay in the hospital every single day. They never lost hope, and Juan baffled his doctors with an unusual strength and desire to get up and walk, even under sedation.

Juan pulled through the pneumonia and was discharged, but was told that he would have to go through intensive therapy if he ever hoped to walk again – a process that would take a year at best. But with Violet and her mother continuing to anoint him and praying, it only took one week for him to be up and walking with a walker. In two weeks he was walking on his own, and in one month he was walking normally. When he went back for check-ups his exams showed that he was completely healed, his broken hip was strong and he had no signs of limping. Once again, Juan baffled his doctors.

Today, two years later, Juan is stronger than ever. He walks perfectly, and is completely healed. "I remember my mom and sister anointing me with the oil every day,' says Juan. "I didn't understand what they were doing, but God made a miracle in my life by giving me a second opportunity. It's a miracle that I'm alive today."

Sandra Torres

STARTED LIVING

Sandra Torres had come to accept the idea that severe migraines would be a normal part of her life. Twice every month like clockwork, she would be unable to eat, to think, to hear any noise or even have an ordinary conversation; just lay in a dark room, hoping that the sharp pains would go away. Not even the strongest prescription medication could give her any relief.

When she was invited to SiLC she decided to give God a try, afterall doctors had given up on her case. To her surprise, after a few weeks of receiving prayers for healing her migraines disappeared! Every day of her life is a reminder that God doesn't want us to just coexist with our problems, but to destroy them!
